About Us
CGC Dredging is a member of the Cooper Group of Companies, which also incorporates CGC Projects, Cooper Corporation Pty Ltd and other CGC investment entities. All of these entities are incorporated in Western Australia.
The Groups core activities include contract dredging, property development and property investment.
The Cooper Group of Companies (CGC) is a Western Australian owned family business with its Directors being family members, Brent Cooper and Peter Cooper.
CGC Dredging is the largest local dredging contractor in the State of WA, and presently operates five dredges on various works around Australia. The company owns a large amount of support equipment for the dredges including large stocks of pipeline and fittings, booster pumps, workboats, etc. Our emphasis is on technology and productivity and as such, our equipment incorporates modern technology and our staff and management are highly skilled.
Our History
The CGC dredging company has a long history in Western Australia, spanning some 27 years in business. The Cooper family has enjoyed successful involvement over more than 35 years in industries such as civil construction (Cooper Plant Hire Pty Ltd), sand supplies and earthmoving (Cooper Sand Supplies, Gnangara Sand Supplies Pty Ltd), concrete products (Welshpool Concrete Products), and more recently mining and quarrying - CGC Hireplant and CGC Equipment.
The Group has a large workshop facility in Henderson, Western Australia with service and backup at call.

Our focus with our dredging work includes:
