Bandy Creek Boat Harbour Entrance Channel (Esperance, WA)
Bandy Creek Boat Harbour is a commercial and recreational marine facility located approximately 5km north east of Esperance.
Maintenance dredging of Bandy Creek Boat harbour is required approximately every 2 years to maintain a navigable channel for use by both commercial and recreational vessel owners in Esperance.
It’s anticipated that approximately 70,000m3 of material will be removed during the 2015 campaign. Discharged material will be located along the beach approximately 1,300m to the east of the harbour entrance. A loader will be used to maintain the disposal site.
Due to prevailing weather conditions in Esperance dredging normally occurs during the months of February and August.
